Kipanga
This word means 'hawk' or 'falcon' in Swahili.
Like a falkon Kipanga will be.
Kipanga is a completely new, modern designed System. The handling is simple and from the beginning easy to understand intuitive. Even with more complex matters, no programming skills are required. Experienced administrators will find a large number of enhanced functionalities.
Please have some patience. There is no date yet for the release of the final version. It's done when it's done and no one day before.
Why Kipanga is being developed?
Much has changed since the first years of this millenium. Be it the enormous development that PHP has undergone since then, be it the major changes in programming techniques or the general demands of the Internet and its users. Not to mention the security problems caused by the ever increasing frequency of attacks on websites and servers. In short: after almost 20 years, the code of WebsiteBaker is simply outdated and long since obsolete.
One important thing:
Although Kipanga was heavily inspired by WebsiteBaker but it's definitely not another new fork of WebsiteBaker!
Kipanga is a completely new development, based on Ryan D.'s ideas on WebsiteBaker in 2004 and now realized with the knowledge and techniques of 2022 up.
Kipanga is the logical evolution and at same time the official successor for the technically outdated WebsiteBaker.
